Bloom Description:
Daisy-like flower heads (to 2” diameter). The rays are red to burgundy with yellow tips and the disks are red to purple. Colors will vary with soil conditions and environment.

Grows in sandy and well-drained areas. It has a high drought tolerance and does best with a dry, hot climate in full sun. Its vibrantly colored flowers can be seen carpeting fields and the sides of highways.
