One-inch-long copper-colored petals change to red toward the base. Petals are twisted or kinked in apperance. Flowers are slightly fragrant.

Jelena Witch Hazel has a multi-stemmed habit which allows this medium-sized shrub to be used for a border or as an ornamental shrub for an open area. It performs best in part-sun with moist, well-drained soil. With age, it can display a more wide-spreading habit.

Leaf Type:
Broad, ovate leaves are 2-4" in length with rounded lobes along the margins. The dark-green leaves turn orange-red in fall.
