A bird and her human

This crafted assemblage was made from found objects. I was once an antique dealer and returned to doing my art. While I had my antique business I saved lots of parts and pieces that had become obsolete and discarded. Today we live in a disposable world. Things are not crafted to last. They are manufactured to be replaced. I like creating with these beautiful objects of the past.

There is a Sense of belonging with this work. We love our animals and they love us. A Bird and her human shows the juxtaposition between the reality of our existence. Do we really on the animals? Do they own us?
