Marlingspike Knot Work

While living on a sailboat owned by my girlfriend, she said “Fox, if you are going to live on a sailboat you need to learn to tie a knot with one hand to save your life, while you hang on with the other hand saving your life.” That was the beginning of my love of practical and decorative knot work.
